Three men were in a hotel room in Soviet Russia.
Two of the men drank vodka while loudly criticizing the government, but the third man was exhausted and tried to sleep but could not.
Frustrated, he went downstairs for a smoke. On the way back, he asked the receptionist to bring tea to room 504 in five minutes.
Returning upstairs, he joined the other two, but then leaned toward a power outlet and said, “Comrade major, please send tea to room 504.”
The other two burst into laughter, but in the next moment the receptionist arrived with the tea. The laughter died and the two men turned pale and silent. The evening ended abruptly, and the tired man finally got to sleep.
The next morning, he awoke to find his companions gone. Concerned, he asked the receptionist what happened.
She whispered nervously, “The KGB came before dawn and took them.”
Horrified, he asked why he was spared.
“Comrade major really liked your tea joke.”
