Honestly, y’all deserved better
So you waited, and you waited, and finally Flush Twice posts a comic, and it’s basically filler. Yeah. It do be like that sometimes. On the bright side, I’m fine. How are you?
The biggest problem I’m having is trying to draw what I need to draw when I suck at drawing stuff that I’ve never drawn before. Obviously I could draw inspiration from other’s work on the internet, but there are stylistic choices to consider, and I’m just not sure how to do it. I work on it for a while, but then I come back and think, “Oh man, this looks terrible!”
So I’ve scrapped a lot of attempts, and I’m no closer to where I left off at the end of last year.
I suppose I could take the script in a direction where I don’t have to come up with any challenging art. Let’s be real – It’s not like anyone knows when I’m compromising my vision unless I tell them!
So for now, I’m thinking about just getting some new stuff out there. Yes, it means I might have to abandon another story arc, but that’s better than abandoning the comic altogether.
I’ll have something else up here in a couple weeks. Who knows, I might even post a few jokes.
