12ft Ladder

I really wish people on reddit would use this before posting.

12ft Ladder

A lot of sites have started to fight back against visitors looking for a free lunch. I mean, how dare they? Well, honestly I support anyone trying to find enrichment through knowledge. 12ft Ladder ain’t always going to work, but sometimes, when you need it most, it might just come through for you.

Find My Device (Google)

Find My Device (Google)

If you have an Android device (ie not iPhone/iPad) then this web page might turn out to be a lifesaver. You just need to be logged into the Google account that is connect to your phone or tablet, and the device needs to be on and somehow able to connect to the internet. Of course if the battery on your phone is dead, or it’s in airplane mode, you’re pretty much out of luck, but that one night I lost my phone in a parking lot, this tool turned out to be very helpful.

Online games are fun, yo!

Skribbl.io

skribbl.io is a free online multiplayer drawing and guessing pictionary game.

A normal game consists of a few rounds, where every round a player has to draw their chosen word and others have to guess it to gain points!

The person with the most points at the end of the game, will then be crowned as the winner!
Have fun!

Take a Test

This is an interesting site that tries to assess implicit biases lurking beneath the shallow facade you call humanity.

From their about page:

“The mission of Project Implicit is to educate the public about bias and to provide a ‘virtual laboratory’ for collecting data on the internet. Project Implicit scientists produce high-impact research that forms the basis of our scientific knowledge about bias and disparities.”

* Due to a mistake on my part, this got published on Sunday instead of Monday… No worries though. You’ll just get six sites this week instead of 5!

Future Me

Because you don’t have enough reminders that your life just keeps going down hill.

Future Me

The basic idea is that you can write an email that will then be sent to you on a future day that you have specified. Unfortunately they do not have a way to do something far more useful like sending an email to your past self where you could reassure yourself that things get better, or warn yourself that a certain event might make things a whole lot worse… No, this lets you re-open old wounds or send a reminder that it’s time to check on the baby.

Oh, and there’s a huge banner ad at the top if you’re not using ad block.

Cheers! Have a nice weekend!
