Everything has always been done from a bit-mapped template. The templates I use today are much higher in resolution so it’s not really a problem, but back then, close-ups got pretty rough looking. You might have also noticed that the comics were all labeled with Flush2x.com. By the time you reach the bottom of this page, you’ll see that I finally came to my senses and just titled the comic as “Flush Twice”.
